COACH BIO

Spencer began coaching in 2014, and has worked tirelessly to help deliver the same energy and knowledge for the sport that inspired him as a young athlete. His fencers have had success across all levels of competition, with examples including:

• Bronze at the U17 Canadian National Championships (2022)

• Silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Fencing Championships - U17 Team Event

• Multiple U13 - U20 Provincial and Western Canadian Champions 

 

Spencer is also currently involved as both a referee, and was Team Manager for Alberta Fencing at the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

• 2018 Pan-American Team Silver Medalist
